Audit and Assurance

External Audit Services

We act as your external/statutory auditors to render an independent opinion on your entity’s financial statements prepared and presented in compliance with Singapore and International Financial Reporting Standards for the purpose of annual statutory fillings to comply with regulatory, legal and stakeholders’ requirements.

Review Services

In a review, the auditor will make inquiries, primarily of persons responsible for financial and accounting matters, and perform analytical and other review procedures to enable the auditor to conclude whether, on the basis of the procedures performed, anything has come to the auditor’s attention that causes the auditor to believe that the financial information is not prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.

It is a service under which the company obtains limited assurance that there are no material modifications that need to be made to the company’s financial statements for them to be in conformity with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. Consequently, a review does not provide the company with assurance that the auditor has become aware of all the significant matters that would normally have been discovered and disclosed in an audit. With respect to reliability and assurance, a review falls between a compilation, which provides no assurance, and the more extensive assurance of an audit.

Agreed Upon Procedures

The objective of an agreed-upon procedures engagement is for the auditor to carry out procedures of an audit nature to which the auditor and the entity and any appropriate third parties have agreed and to report on factual findings. As the auditor simply provides a report of the factual findings of agreed-upon procedures, no assurance is expressed. Instead, users of the report assess for themselves the procedures and findings reported by the auditor and draw their own conclusions from the auditor’s work.
